City Council has taken a smart, forward-looking approach by choosing to update the Master Plan and establishing a subcommittee to guide the process. This is the right way to shape Ocean City’s future—thoughtfully, collaboratively, and with input from residents, businesses, and the community.

But it’s important to stay vigilant. Despite Council’s clear decision, Councilman Jody Levchuk is calling for a revote on a rehabilitation designation—a step that would take us backward and undermine the careful planning process now underway.  We need to move forward, together, not backwards.
